Düsseldorf, Germany-headquartered TK Elevator (TKE)’s second sustainability report, published on April 27, shows what the company describes as “significant progress towards the company’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) targets.” Titled “Acting Today to Build a Sustainable Future,” the report reveals the company made significant strides toward its goal to achieve net zero by 2050, including achieving a 21% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions compared to base year 2019, sourcing more renewable electricity in line with its goal of sourcing 100% renewable electricity by 2030 and strengthening its safety program through a global initiative and a successful supplier audit campaign. TKE observed its “approach to building sustainability into TK Elevator’s fabric to create value and positively impact all its stakeholders” is particularly well-represented by EOX, TKE’s recently launched green and natively digital elevator.
