TÜV SÜD, the world’s first Notified Body for the new EU Machinery Regulation, plans to host The Machinery Roadshow 2026 on November 23 at TÜV SÜD headquarters, Haus Algorithmus in Munich. Conducted entirely in English, the event offers an international platform where manufacturers, operators, developers, technology companies and regulatory authorities can come together to shape the future of mechanical engineering. The focus will be on the practical implementation of the new EU Machinery Regulation, cybersecurity, functional safety and the use of AI, with the overarching goal of successfully combining innovation and compliance. “The mechanical and plant engineering sector is on the cusp of a profound transformation,” TÜV SÜD observed. “AI, networked systems and software-based safety functions are reshaping technologies, development processes and regulatory requirements with equal measure.” The Machinery Roadshow 2026 promises to help “show the way to the safe machine of the future.”
