Exterior work is wrapping up on the 18-story, 58-unit 378 West End Avenue on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, NYC, New York YIMBY reported in September. Designed by COOKFOX and developed by Alchemy Properties, the tower abuts circa-1892 Collegiate Church to the south and features a granite, limestone and brick façade. Among the most distinctive architectural elements is a series of narrow rectangular voids that add depth to the façade. Its lobby will have four Fujitec elevators accessible via scanned key fobs, and 90% of residences will have direct elevator access. Fujitec tells ELEVATOR WORLD the units are Fujitec Viridian and Torin traction machine-room-less with Fujitec Viridian controllers and Torin machines. Leeds Building Group is the general contractor, and completion is anticipated in summer 2023.
