MP Lifts, a Spain-headquartered company with more than 1,200 employees and operations in over 100 countries worldwide, announced Warsaw Metro has renewed its maintenance contract. Covering nearly 200 lifts, escalators and platform systems, the initial contract was awarded in 2023 to MP Lifts' Poland branch. The new, 12-month contract became effective in February and has expanded in scope to cover nearly 400 units. MP Lifts said its proven capability to maintain equipment from multiple manufacturers — Otis, Schindler, TK Elevator, KONE, City Lift and Lift Projekt — allows it to deliver consistent, high-quality performance in heavy-duty, high-traffic environments such as metro systems. "MP Lifts appreciates the trust that Metro Warszawskie continues to place in the company," the company stated. "This renewal reflects a shared commitment to ensuring safe, efficient and uninterrupted service across one of Europe's most demanding urban transport networks."
