Waupaca Elevator Assets Acquired by Fox Valley Elevator

Wisconsin Elevator Co, LLC, doing business as (dba) Fox Valley Elevator, an investment affiliate of family-owned private-equity firm Gardner Standard LLC, acquired the assets of Waupaca Elevator Co., Inc., through a Wisconsin Chapter 128 receivership process, Gardner announced on March 21. Headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, Fox Valley will serve the residential elevator, dumbwaiter, access and mobility sectors, and plans to hire many former Waupaca employees. Gardner senior executive and investment partner Roland Parker is interim Fox Valley Elevator president. A separate new entity, Badger Elevator Sales & Service, LLC, dba Wisconsin Elevator Sales & Service, acquired the assets of a Wisconsin dealership formerly owned by Waupaca. Leo Lopez is serving as general manager of that business. Fox Valley and Wisconsin Elevator did not assume any of Waupaca’s liabilities.
