Wisconsin Governor Appoints TKE Branch Manager to Code Council

Mark Uy

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers recently appointed Mark Uy, branch manager at TK Elevator (TKE) in Madison, Wisconsin, as the Elevator Servicing Business representative on the state Conveyance Safety Code Council, effective July 1, Uy announced on LinkedIn. Uy’s term on the council expires on July 1, 2025. In a letter to Uy, Evers said Uy’s “experience, knowledge and dedication will be a true asset. . .and a great benefit to the people of Wisconsin.” In announcing the appointment, Uy observed that elevator safety code can be “vague and interpreted in many different ways,” and that he looks forward to representing TKE and its competitors to contribute to the safety of all those in the trade. Uy has been with TKE for more than four years, serving as an account manager in Downers Grove, Illinois, and a sales manager in downtown Chicago before becoming Madison branch manager in January 2022.
