A woman in Wichita County, Texas, was killed on June 12 when a residential elevator fell on top of her, Texomas reported. Authorities said a family member found the woman underneath the elevator and summoned a neighbor, who brought a floor jack to raise the elevator. Officials said the elevator fell from the home’s second floor, but they gave no indication of the cause of the incident.
