Fashion company Bestseller is planning a mixed-use headquarters tower in its hometown of Brande that, if built, would be the tallest building in Denmark, Archinect reported in August. The building, designed by Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter, would stand more than 200 m tall and accommodate retail shops, offices, educational facilities, space for public events and a hotel. Archinect noted that, based on architectural renderings, the Bestseller building would “stick out in the small railway town of Brande,” adding that recent figures put the population at a little over 7,000. A starting date for the project was set for 2019, at the earliest.
