EFESME News

The European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (EFESME) had several updates in its March newsletter. First, the electronic newsletter itself has a new, modern look and now has a goal of being emailed bimonthly to all international sectorial magazines, media and stakeholders. Highlights are announcements of: an online questionnaire developed by EFESME and its Digital Working Group to help the federation better understand the position of SMEs on digitalization and the lift industry; publication of a new edition of EN 81-20 and -50 in the Official Journal of the European Union; and articles on Brexit and the new UKCA marking by EFESME and Small Business Standards (SBS) and workplace safety in the Italian lift industry and risk analysis in the industry, both by EFESME and SBS. Those interested in receiving the newsletter may email EFESME and view archives.
