Construction work continues apace on Two Manhattan West, a 935-ft-tall commercial skyscraper in NYC’s Midtown West (ELENET 819), New York YIMBY reported on April 6. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Brookfield, the 58-story office tower stands at the corner of West 31st Street and Ninth Avenue. The US$2-billion tower will hold approximately 2 million ft2 of space. The majority of the tower’s steel framework should be largely assembled this year, with the tower topping out by the end of 2021 or early 2022. Two Manhattan West is the final element in the five-building Manhattan West complex. Other buildings in the master plan include the Pendry Hotel; the Eugene, a 730-ft-tall residential skyscraper; and the renovated Five Manhattan West.
