Construction has begun on the third and final phase of a plan to redevelop Chicago’s Atrium Village housing complex, Curbed Chicago reported. The project, called Old Town Park, is being developed by Omni Group and designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture. The third tower will rise 41 stories and 447 ft high and contain 456 rental units and office space. The first building in the project, a 32-story tower, gained attention for having Chicago’s most expensive penthouse at US$450,000 per month. The 39-story second tower broke ground in 2017 and will house 428 apartments.
