Details of IGV Group’s corporate brand event held in New Delhi, promoting the Italian lift sector and IGV’s DomusLift.

After three years of operations in India, IGV Group – an Italian designer of customized home lifts – launched “Made in Italy in Indian Homes.” The corporate brand event, organized under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy and in collaboration with the Italian Trade Commission on May 4, in New Delhi, India, promoted the Italian lift sector and IGV’s DomusLift home lift. More than 120 architects, interior designers, developers, key customers and press representatives gathered at the residence of the Italian embassy to attend the event.

Referring to the DomusLift brand in his address, Italian Ambassador Giacomo Sanfelice di Monteforte said, “The elevators we are talking about are an example of the excellence of the Italian products and a new, unique concept of customized luxury lifts.” He also marked the growing international presence of IGV in foreign markets:

“IGV has proved to compete well internationally. Export accounts for over 60% of its turnover, with a special eye on the emerging markets, India in first place. The secret of this success story is a constant attention for research and to the most innovative materials, as well as a close collaboration with top designers, architects and renowned brands.”

Matteo Volpe, vice president of IGV Group, launched a new institutional video of the company, and during his speech, said:

“This event has given us the unique opportunity to experience a closer interaction with India, that we particularly [enjoy], as we strongly believe that relationship and mutual knowledge are a valuable part of doing business.”

The speaker of honor was Indian architect Brinda Somaya. Somaya’s presentation included coverage of her works by Italian magazines such as Abitare, Domus and Spazio & Società. The coverage focused on Somaya’s eclectic style in interpreting both modern and conservation architecture, and her vision on the architect’s social responsibility. In her speech, Somaya said:

“As an architect, I do believe we are the guardians of the built and un-built environment, and we can play an important (rather than a peripheral) role in society through our work and commitment.”

In conclusion, Luigi Martino, IGV sales director, highlighted IGV’s leadership in the home lift sector in Europe and officially introduced the IGV representative network in India, thanking the group for transferring the value of IGV brand. To the delight of Ferrari fans, the event featured a special guest star: the Ferrari California, one of the jewels of Maranello House Italy.
