Within the scope of Vocational Training Cooperation Protocol signed with Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, All Elevator Industrialists and Business People Association (TASIAD) will equip the laboratories and workshops of Haydarpaşa Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and İMMİB Erkan Avcı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School with new technology elevator systems.
Within the scope of the studies initiated under the leadership of the TASIAD Education committee, laboratories and workshops of Haydarpaşa Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and İMMİB Erkan Avcı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which provide elevator systems training in Istanbul, will be equipped with new technology elevator systems and the students of these schools will reach internship and job opportunities.
As of June, activities started in Haydarpaşa Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which is one of the well-established vocational schools in Anatolian side of Istanbul. The training committee visited the school in March and obtained information from the school management about the elevator workshops completed preliminary works. The target is to complete the workshop equipment for the 2021-2022 academic year under the name TASIAB Elevator Academy.
The students are canalized to elevators systems branch
TASIAD Training Committee, which works on canalizing the students to the elevator systems branch, organized an online contact meeting for the students of Electricity and Electronics Department and their parents to introduce elevator industry and told them the increasing need for qualified personnel, job opportunities, security measures and the opportunities for that will be provided to the interns and graduates within the scope of the protocol.
TASIAD CEO Ahmet Fikret Gökhan told, “It is a known fact that the need for qualified human resources for the development and sustainability of the manufacturing industry in our country is increasing day by day. It is also valid for the elevator industry. As TASIAD, within the 33 years since its foundation, we are pleased to add one more pioneering and well-established initiative for the development and progress of the Turkish elevator industry and wish that our Vocational Training Cooperation would be beneficial for our industry and the education community.”
