2026 Triplex Challenge Champion Announced

The U.K.’s Shorts Industries Ltd. and Lift Professional announced that UK LIFT TECH LTD took home the trophy and became the first-ever Triplex Challenge champions with a finishing time of 5 h and 54 min. Second place went to BELVIDERE LIFTS LTD and third place to Allied Lift Services. The first annual Triplex Challenge was held in May in the Lake District in the North West of England and brought together lift professionals from across the U.K. to take on three consecutive challenges designed to test endurance, teamwork and communication. Teams of four completed a 7-mi. hike across Helvellyn, a 3-mi. team canoe across Ullswater Lake and a 4-mi. team carry of a weighted load. Other teams that participated included The Pink Link; Pickerings Lifts; BKG Bunse-Aufzüge GmbH; Robert Gerrard & Co. Ltd; Langer + Laumann and AKE Elevators, Escalators, Accessibility Systems; PERMAGSA; Benchmark Lifts; and United Lift Services Ltd.
