Cornelius Walls Joins CEDES as VP

CEDES has announced the addition of Cornelius Walls as vice president (VP) of Elevator & Escalator for North America. “With 30 years of experience and strong relationships in the elevator industry, he is exceptionally well-positioned to drive our growth in this strategically important market,” the company said. In the role, Walls will handle CEDES’ entire elevator and escalator portfolio and develop business in the North American market. Walls has a bachelor’s degree in business from Robert Morris University, has worked in numerous roles in the industry and has been involved in various industry organizations, including the National Association of Elevator Contractors and the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation. “I made the decision to come on board because of CEDES‘ unwavering commitment to putting customers first, as well as the company’s dedication to advancing the industry through innovative technology, like Internet-of-Things-enabled hardware and digital products,” Walls said.
