The Council on Vertical Urbanism (CVU), previously the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, is hosting Global Activity Insights Webinar | Europe Region on July 16 at 9 a.m. CDT/4 p.m. CEST. The webinar will explore the latest findings from CVU’s new interactive data study, which examines trends in vertical urbanization across Europe. Led by CVU research and data experts Isaac Work and Shawn Ursini, this data-driven session will unpack the complex and often contrasting approaches European cities are taking to accommodate growth while balancing history, identity and livability focusing on why some European cities have experienced dramatic increases in tall building development while others continue to resist vertical growth; how population growth, density and urban expansion are interacting to shape development patterns across the continent; which cities are emerging as Europe's fastest-growing vertical urban centers and what's driving their transformation; and what the latest data reveals about the future of urban growth, housing, mobility and development policy in Europe.
