Dynasty Elevator Awarded Five-Elevator Modernization In Manhattan

John Mezzo, president of NYC-based Dynasty Elevator, announced the company was awarded the modernization contract for five gearless passenger elevators at Manhattan Place Condominium, a 35-story apartment building in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan, NYC, for client R.E.M. Residential. "R.E.M Residential wanted to remain ahead of the curve by ensuring their elevators continue to have the best-in-class technology, performance and reliability," Mezzo said. Dynasty Elevator was brought on board to work with Sierra Consulting Group, Inc., a VDA company, to execute this complex project with new top-of-the-line equipment, Mezzo said. The modernized elevator system serving the circa 1984 tower includes new Imperial electric gearless machines. GAL Manufacturing door equipment, non-proprietary controllers from Nidec-Motion Control Engineering and fixtures from EPCO with screens from C.E. Electronics, Inc.
