South Korea’s Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on November 11 that it plans to install elevators at 18 locations on 13 bridges over the Han River by 2026, The Korea Bizwire reports. The project aims to improve access for bicyclists and pedestrians who visit parks along the river, spanned by 23 bridges. The 10 bridges that will not have elevators installed either already have them or are unable to accommodate them.
