EW Announces 2026 Project of the Year Winners

ELEVATOR WORLD proudly announces the 2026 Project of the Year winners. Expert teams in Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Spain, South Korea (two winners) and the U.S. (Connecticut and Florida) emerged victorious by successfully completing challenging, rewarding vertical- (and horizontal-) transportation projects in eight categories featuring an airport, an office building, a private residence, public transit systems, a sports arena and a new bridge. This year’s winning projects are outstanding, and we heartily congratulate all the companies and teams involved. EW received a record number of amazing entries this year, so judging was particularly challenging. Winners are, in Elevators, New Construction, TK Elevator for Santiago de Compostela Intermodal Station in Galicia, Spain; Elevators, Modernization, A&A Elevator for Street of Mayfair in Coconut Grove, Florida; Escalators, New Construction, Elevator Solutions Investment Co. for Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.; Escalators, Modernization, KONE for the Stamford Transportation Center in Stamford, Connecticut; Moving Walks, Otis for Incheon Airport in Incheon, South Korea; Inclined Lifts, Kumho Elevator Co. Ltd. for Choryang 168 Stairs in Busan, South Korea; Private-Residence Lifts, Next Level Elevators for Banks on the Yarra in Melbourne, Australia; and Special-Purpose Lifts, Johnson Lifts for Pamban Lifts for the new Pamban Bridge in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India. These winning projects will be featured in our January 2026 issue, with remaining contenders spotlighted throughout the rest of the year.
