On February 3, Marine Innovations, the Minnesota-based manufacturer of trams and inclined elevators for North America, Central America and the Caribbean, announced a new carriage design as an upgrade to its existing carriage offerings. The ingenious new design boasts a refined door location allowing for two aluminum seats and is comfortable for up to four passengers. The seats fold up to allow for more space to carry items. The 32-in. wide seats meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements while allowing for installation flexibility. Carriage dimensions are 45 and 5/8 in. X 60-in. with inside floor dimensions of 41 and 5/8 in. X 48 and 1/2 in. Non-skid aluminum flooring enhances safety, and powder coating delivers a lifetime, corrosion-free finish available in several color options. This carriage is standard for Marine Innovations’ 860-lb Classic Bank Hoist and Ultra Bank Hoist systems.
