MD Of Indian Motor Manufacturer Joins Nonprofit BoD

Mumbai, India, motor manufacturer Bharat Bijlee Ltd. recently announced that Managing Director (MD) Nakul Mehta has been appointed to the Board of Directors (BoD) of the nonprofit Centre for Organization Development (COD) in Hyderabad. Bharat Bijlee has been associated for more than 40 years with COD, a provider of education, consulting and research in the organizational development field. COD founder Dr. B.L. Maheshwari has advised Bharat Bijlee on management processes since the company was founded in 1975. Mehta joined Bharat Bijlee in 1984, and has been MD since 1990. He has extensive experience in the electrical engineering and elevator industries, and is considered an expert in strategy formulation and technology development. He holds degrees in physics and engineering mechanics and has published research in academic journals.
