The next class for the NAESA Inspector Trainee Program begins on July 17. The program was developed to assist hiring authorities with QEI code level training for future elevator inspectors. This one-year program is intended to help fulfill the inspector-in-training requirements to become a QEI Inspector, and the goal is to provide a structured, standardized educational approach to elevator codes and standards. The course is delivered through four 1-h online sessions every two weeks. The trainee will work side by side with their hiring authority, which will provide mentorships and supervision through various documented on-the-job training events. This on-the-job training is designed to prepare students for success as QEIs, equipping them with the basic skills and knowledge to handle real-world challenges. The deadline to register is July 1.
