Otis Awards Two-Year Scholarships to Six High-Achieving Students

Otis has awarded two-year scholarships administered by the nonprofit Executive Leadership Council (ELC) to six high-achieving undergraduate university students to support their business and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) studies. The mission of the U.S.-based ELC is to increase the number of successful Black executives. In addition to financial support for their education, each of the winners has been paired with an Otis mentor. The Otis ELC scholars are among more than 130 student scholars sponsored through the ELC. They are Wagar Ahmed, majoring in business at Howard University; Alisa Drake, majoring in marketing at Howard University;  Erika Igarashi-Cummings, majoring in civil engineering at Norfolk State University; Natalya Jones, majoring in architecture at Hampton University; Leslie Koffi, majoring in architecture at the University of Kansas; and Nathan Morlu, majoring in mechanical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to ELC, Otis has recently provided STEM scholarships in partnership with various entities in Asia and the U.S.
