Pace Group Adds to Book with Acquisitions

The U.K.’s Pace Group recently completed the acquisitions of Exel Elevator, The Lift Company & DJ Lifts, Bdaily reports. Exel Elevator is based in Gateshead, U.K., with The Lift Company & DJ Lifts operating from Westerham, in Kent, U.K. The deals were fueled by LDC investment and add to previous moves for firms including Metro Lifts, Elevate UK Lifts and Abacus Elevators made since the private equity operator backed The Pace Group last year. The Pace Group now has 20-plus brands under its umbrella. These recent acquisitions have boosted West Midlands-headquartered Pace Group’s national maintenance book to approximately 13,000 units and its customer base to about 5,000.
