Schindler India Announces New Elevator Interior Design Options

Schindler announced on March 26 that a new range of elevator interior design options — Schindler Designs — has been optimized specifically for India, aimed at setting “a new standard for interior aesthetics, empowering architects, designers and business owners to reimagine the vertical-transportation experience with unparalleled style and sophistication.” There are five distinct themes in the range: Natural Nuances, which embraces the beauty of nature; Tone on Tone with a monochromatic color scheme; Architectural Elegance, which blends history with contemporary style; Accent Color, which makes a statement with bold colors against neutral tones; and Digital Spaces, a technology-driven design that includes clean lines and futuristic fixtures. Within these themes, designers have access to a range of additional options in India, including color palettes that reflect regional preferences and wall finishings such as laminate, steel, glass and ceramic.
