Smartrise Hires New Vice President of Business Development

Smartrise Engineering has named Mike Fitzgerald as its new vice president of Business Development. Fitzgerald has a 30-plus year career in the elevator industry and worked in various roles at Thyssenkrupp Elevator, Otis, Lerch Bates and Schindler prior to joining Smartrise. In his new position, he will be in charge of developing connections that support new business, expanding the company into new markets and heading brand awareness for the company. Smartrise General Manager Juliette Burns says, “With contributions from team members like Mike and the upcoming launch of our new hydraulic controller, Smartrise is primed to have one of the best years in our company’s history.”
