U.K. Company Becomes Distributor of Konnex Lightbelt

BEW Lift Division, based in Ilford, U.K., is now the exclusive distributor of Lightbelt systems by Konnex GmbH, an international designer and manufacturer of metal and plastic products. Aimed at creating a safer working environment by providing a well-lit lift shaft, Lightbelt utilizes a ratchet technique to adjust the tension of the LED strip, which can remain lit for 3 hr in emergency/backup mode. BEW Lift states the system requires only two mounting points and can be cut to suit various lift shafts and retrofitted to existing ones.
