LIFTEX 2016

LIFTEX-2016

Long-time supporter of LIFTEX, Thames Valley Controls, will be returning for the 2016 event. Sales Director, Eamonn Reid, is on the event’s Steering Group, helping to ensure that the show’s content is as up to the minute as possible.

“LIFTEX provides the ideal environment to promote the benefits of our market-leading lift control and monitoring technology to existing and new customers” says Eamonn Reid, Sales Director, Thames Valley Controls.

While there are bound to be many familiar faces at LIFTEX 2016, it

is refreshing to see so many new organisations committing to attend. Among them are Wessex Lifts and Terry Lifts just two of the companies leading a strong presence from accessibility companies. This is a sector where UK companies are especially strong and LEIA are delighted to see this reflected in the exhibition.

Atwell International is just one of the major British companies who have already booked their stand at the event. Managing Director Russell Walker has led the group’s growth, in particular developing Atwell’s reputation for research and development.

The UK’s Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA), organisers of the International LIFTEX exhibition, announced the dates of the 2016 exhibition in the Autumn of last year. Current indications are that demand for space at LIFTEX 2016 is high, with 65% of the 2013 exhibitors already committing to attend, some with a much larger presence than in previous years. With 50% of available space already taken, and many new companies joining the event, it looks certain that ExCeL London from 25-26 May 2016 will be the place to be for anyone with an involvement in the lift, escalator and access industries.

“LIFTEX enables us to interact with our customers, finding out what their particular needs are in different markets and then responding to this. Also, because the event attracts such an international audience, we are able to show clients from all over the world the quality and integrity of all our products and services.”

Even though the event is a year away, visitor marketing preparations have already begun. Focusing initially on data, the aim of all activity is to increase the range and volume of visitors attracted to the exhibition. By investing in high-quality marketing expertise, LIFTEX 2016 is laying the groundwork to drive visitor numbers up even further. Registration is already open, for details visit www.liftex2016.com.

While there has been a 25% increase in the exhibition space, the strong sales performance shows that potential exhibitors cannot afford to be complacent and should book sooner rather than later.

One of the most successful features at LIFTEX 2013 was the seminar programme. It will come as no surprise then that the LIFTEX 2016 team will once again be focussing their attention on creating a thought-provoking and professionally focussed series of talks and presentations on topics such as modernisation, accessibility and developments in products for access, as well as the latest on new standards
and regulations.
